Dancefloor Hopping

“I cannot say enough good things about Surefire Trio! To begin with, Roy was so friendly and approachable in the lead up to our wedding. Out of all of our suppliers, he was definitely the most efficient, and the quickest at replying to us. This definitely makes a huge difference when trying to coordinate lots of wedding service providers. Also, there was no request from us that was too much, and I could tell that Roy and the lads were really genuinely keen to make our wedding day the best that it could be!
The Surefire Ukulele Duo played for my ceremony entrance and exit, and also played at our drinks reception. The music was fantastic and really added to the atmosphere. I don’t even think that the lads took a break at all. They were just brilliant!
After our dinner, my husband’s band played some tunes first, which added a certain amount of complication to the whole setup and timeline etc. Surefire fitted seamlessly into the entire operation however, even though it has to have caused them a certain amount of inconvenience. My husband really enjoyed playing for our guests, and I was so impressed by the patience of Roy and the lads, as they waited for him and his friends to finish up! I can’t thank them enough for fitting in around these wannabe rockstars!! 🙂
I also really enjoyed how Roy and the lads let us choose lots of songs for our DJ set, and they even learned “Maniac 2000” by Mark McCabe for our first dance! Honestly, they couldn’t have done more for us! I really hope that you’ve been able to play that tune in your set list at other weddings since, Roy?!
I’m so glad that I booked Surefire Trio for our wedding, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. They had the dancefloor hopping for the entire night. Roy was like an old friend by the time our day was over, and we can’t thank him and the lads enough for a brilliant day and night of entertainment!”

Everyone On The Dancefloor

“We will never be able to thank Roy, Al and Adam enough. As everyone else raves in their reviews, Roy was so friendly from the initial messages and always responded so quickly and was so approachable to ask questions to. We had never seen the lads play and so went on videos- as soon as we saw them interacting with the crowd we knew they were for us! The long list of songs they play meant we knew they would have something for everyone! On the day things were running a little behind schedule and the guys were so good and patient, nothing was an issue, even though they had just driven from Dublin to Donegal. As soon as they started playing they really judged the crowd right and had everyone on the dancefloor. I actually overheard one of our guest saying ‘Of course they have a class band’ so that will tell you how much everyone loved them. One thing I will always be thankful for was how good the guys were as my Nana had a song on the DJ set she had wanted to dance to but was tried after the day, I went up to Roy in the middle of the band set and explained and within two ticks he had her song playing and it really made both her night and mine and although I know it must had been a pain for the guys, you would never have known. We were the first wedding in our groups of friends and we have both got multiple texts asking for the guys details. We were worried organising an Irish wedding from the UK would be complicated but Roy was an absolute dream to work with, made the whole process so stress free! We opted for the band and DJ for the night, they were perfect and fantastic value for money, our initially reserved crowd were up dancing in no time! They performed an excellent mix of music and played a playlist of music of our choice while the evening buffet was being served, then the DJ kept the music going til the early hours. “It’s another five star review and deservedly so. We had a similar experience to most on here in that when we found them online and made contact, they responded almost immediately and provided dates of gigs they were playing where we could see them live. Unfortunately we were not able to see them before our wedding but the videos on social media gave a lot of comfort. We were asked for a sample of songs that we would like played. All were incorporated and further, whilst our first dance song was not in their library, they learned it for us and tailored it to make it very personal. I can’t thank them enough for that. A great band and a strong DJ set from Roy kept the dance floor busy at all times. A very professional outfit. Couldn’t recommend them more.”

They were very flexible on the type of music they could play and willing to learn new songs if required. We didn’t have a huge budget for music and were a little worried we wouldn’t find a band and dj in budget but we did. Roy and the band played a great mix of songs that ensured people were dancing all through the night. They not only performed our first Dance but also our last dance song which we only gave them two weeks notice to learn both songs. My husband was delighted that the band were able to play his favourite song. I even managed to keep it a secret from him, and he was ecstatic when he heard the band start to play his favourite song. It topped off our special day perfectly. I hope we get to hear them play again soon.”

We chose the guys after watching their online videos, getting a feel for their style and reading all the glowing reviews of their past events. The band certainly do not disappoint! We opted for the Ukulele duo to give our canapé reception a bit of a unique vibe, and everyone loved them! (One of our guests is now planning on buying a Ukulele!). The band then played for the evening reception followed up by their DJ services into the small hours. All our guests commented on how great the guys were and I’m told their is interest from some of our family and friends hiring them for a future date (maybe see you guys again soon!). The mix of music and style was spot on and I cannot thank the guys enough for helping make our day as good as we hoped. On the organisation side of things, Roy made everything super easy – including liasing with the venue manager directly for logistics to make our planning easier.
